Our President

Mr. Warner is a registered architect with 27 years of architectural and facility planning experience. As an architect/planner with an extensive background in architectural design, documentation, educational planning, community involvement, consensus building, strategic planning, facility planning, and programming, Mr. Warner is committed to providing quality professional services.

Mr. Warner has directed a variety of projects in a multitude of settings. Having worked up through the architectural and engineering ranks from 1972 to 1982, and owning his own successful architectural firm from 1982 to 1986, Mr. Warner moved to Columbus, Ohio to continue his professional development with Bohm/NBBJ a nationally recognized architectural/engineering firm.

In 1990, Mr. Warner became the Assistant State Architect for the State of Ohio, where he was responsible for the planning and development of state-wide higher education projects as well as other state facilities.

In 1994, Mr. Warner joined DeJong and over the past 10 years has played a major role in building and positioning the firm as a nationally recognized educational planning firm. As Vice-President, Mr. Warner has conducted over 100 educational facility planning and educational specifications projects in rural, suburban, and urban settings, as well as three church planning projects.

Mr. Warner currently serves as a member of CEFPI and has been designated as a REFP (Recognized Educational Planning Professional). He made a presentation at the 1999 CEFPI and the AIA Annual Conference, discussing education and school facilities in Honduras. Mr. Warner is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council Architectural Registration Boards, is the recipient of a design award from Reynolds Aluminum, and among those named Who’s Who. Mr. Warner has made annual presentations at the University of Wisconsin discussing current and future trends in education.

Having previously owned his own architectural/planning firm and developed commercial and retail facilities, Mr. Warner brings extensive business knowledge and practical experience to any project.

Mr. Warner has also taken a leadership role in renovating and building churches and planning, renovating and constructing schools in Honduras and Nicaragua. He has participated in the preliminary church and school planning and construction efforts there and has served as the trip coordinator since 1997. In addition, Mr. Warner, a founding member, is serving on the Board of Directors of Schools for the Children of The World. SCW-USA and SCW-Honduras are philanthropic organizations working closely with the Honduran government to construct and renovate schools throughout Honduras.
